Dr. Barry Bolker received his Ph.D. in Physics from Iowa State University.  The coauthor of more than a dozen peer-reviewed, published papers, Dr. Bolker also co-holds several domestic and foreign patents for processes he helped develop.  After earning a certificate in Professional Financial Planning at the University of California, Santa Barbara, he passed the examination and ethics requirements to become a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ (CFP^®) Professional. Combining his analytical insight and problem-solving skills with his lifelong interest in investing, he is now enjoying his second career helping others achieve their financial goals.

In keeping with his personal financial philosophy and sense of integrity, Dr. Bolker has always been a fee-only financial planner who serves you as a fiduciary.

He does not sell any products, nor does he take assets under management. He provides unbiased advice to assist you in solving your investing and financial problems and achieving your life-goals.

Dr. Bolker is a sole practitioner and is a Registered Investment Advisor with the State of California Department of Business Oversight. In addition to being a CFP^® certificant, he is a member (and past Treasurer) of the Board of Directors of the Financial Planning Association (FPA) – Ventura County chapter. He is also a former member of the Coalition for Collaborative Divorce (CCD) in Ventura County.  Dr. Bolker is a founding member and past president of an existing, successful hobby investment club in Camarillo, CA, where he makes his home and bases his practice.
